Welcome to my portfolio
My work has been separated into the galleries you see below - working in the creative industry for more than twenty years, and always eager to try new techniques and styles, means that I am very comfortable working in any of the styles that you see in these galleries. Please enjoy the time you spend here and do not hesitate to reach out to me directly with any questions or requests that you may have.

Magazine Covers
One of the biggest selling point of any magazine is the cover and to be given the chance to illustrate them is an incredible honour! Seeing my artwork on the newsstand is always a thrill and there has always been an uplift in sales when this happens. Please have a look through this gallery and send me a message if you think we could work together!

Editorial Illustration
From artwork for editorial columns to technical illustrations and everything in-between, editorial illustration is a wonderfully exciting and creative part of my work. Clients approach me with any number of ideas and I always enjoy delivering above and beyond for them. Please enjoy looking through this gallery and get in touch if you have a project that could benefit from an illustrative input.

Technical Illustration
Having studied technical illustration at university, I have an 'old school' education of hand drawn artwork, drawn from plans, elevations and design sketches using perspective grids. Things have moved on considerably since those days and now computer software allows me to create photorealistic renderings and animation that we could only have dreamt about, in the old days.

Flora & Fauna
I have always had a keen interest in nature. Most of my first drawings as a child were of birds and animals and I still love anything flora or fauna based. From photorealistic to loose and sketchy, there is always a style to suit any project. Please enjoy looking through this gallery and get in contact, if you like what you see.

Map Design
I love maps! I was introduced to Ordnance Survey maps as a child and I've been infatuated with anything map-based ever since. From National Park noticeboards to garden plans, from mountain hikes to birdwatching guides, maps are essential in numerous situations and can be created in so many fun and attractive ways to suit any style or budget. I'd be delighted to draw the map for your next project.

Interpretation
I trained initially as a technical illustrator, working from plans, sketches and photographs to create representations of buildings and engineering and this is still a real joy of mine. I love bringing scenes from the past to life, such as the cutaway work on Worcester Cathedral and the historical drawings for the award-winning projects at Coniston Coppermines and Eskdale Mill.
